Waterproofing Materials and Tile Adhesives by DERWAÝYS | Bitumen Membrane, Mastics, Tile Adhesive

Waterproofing material based on polymer-modified bitumen, reinforced with glass fibre mat and polyester fleece, with polyethylene and aluminium coating. The use of polymer-modified bitumen gives strength and elasticity to the waterproofing layer, which contributes to the resistance to cracking and wear of the membrane.   

High-quality reinforcing materials increase the mechanical strength of the membrane. Aluminium film provides a high level of protection against penetration of moisture and water vapour, damaging effects of ultraviolet light, increases thermal insulation properties.

‘DERWAÝYS C2 premium tile adhesive

The adhesive mixture ‘DERWAÝYS’ C2 can be used for laying of porcelain stoneware tiles, up to 120x60 cm format, on cement-sand stable screeds;  
laying of porcelain tiles up to 60x60 cm on cement screeds with water and electric heating;  
laying ceramic tiles and porcelain tiles on cement and cement-sand screeds with height differences of up to 30 mm, without preliminary levelling;  
laying of clinker with a strongly profiled back side;  
laying handmade tiles on cement screed;  
laying ceramic tiles of different thicknesses on cement screed.  
25 kg in bags, consumption 1.3 kg per m2 depending on tile size.

It is intended for preparation of insulated surfaces (concrete slab, cement-sand screed, etc.) before laying of spreading and self-adhesive roofing and waterproofing materials. Ready bitumen-rubber mastic should be thoroughly mixed before application. It is recommended to apply the mastic on the surface to be treated with kapron brushes or a roller. When applied in this way, bitumen-rubber mastic is absorbed into the surface, saturates and binds it, providing a strong bond between the base and the waterproofing coating. 

Bitumen-rubber mastic is packed in plastic hermetic containers. The volume of container filling is not more than 90%. The mastic is stored in a closed room with supply and exhaust ventilation. The bitumen-rubber mastic may separate during storage.
